Wordpress is complicated.

Wordpress does not seem to be very user-friendly.
I wanted to start a small blog with short entries, but every time that I want to post it seems like I have to jump through a thousand hoops just to publish.
Any other platforms? Am I correct in my estimation?

WP is pretty user friendly. It is wysiwyg. Watch some youtube vid's on how to work it. It's just a different format. Word processor.

I've used Tumblr in the past. It's pretty simple.

Yup. I think I was just looking for something much simpler. The microblogging post above helped me a lot. I'm now considering something like svbtle.
