William Fulke, English Puritan (1538 -- August 1589) was a friend of Thomas Cartwright and a noted Puritan defender of the faith. He disputed with Roman Catholics, took part in the vestments controversy, and wrote a confutation of the Rhemish Testament, a study of meteors and A Defense of the sincere true Translations of the holie Scriptures into the English tong , among other works.
