When was the Roman Catholic Church Called Roman?

I've been digging around for a clear answer on this question.

"Romanist" seems to have appeared about 1515.
"Romish" seems to have appeared around 1525-1535.
"Roman Catholic" "seems" to be coined around 1581. (That late??) First known use?
"To Romanize" appeared 1600-10.
1515-25 the Anglicans "seemed" to coin the term "papist" and later its derivative "papism."
1520-1530, was "popish."
"popery" (1525-1535)
"papistry" (1540-1550).

Some of this came from Webster's College Dictionary, 1995 ed. Some of it was around the web.

I know Ignatius of Antioch used the term "catholic church" before he was martyred. I'm looking for the first use of "roman".

Anyone have any other info?

Possibly after the East-West schism (dated to around 1054).

I was thinking that such would be the case, but I can't seem to find anything "written" about it. Finding it recorded is my dilemma.

That's great. It seems it was written between the 7th and 8th century. It was my initial guess. Thank you.
