Hello brothers and sisters! I thought I would share a worship resource that has been a blessing to me.
Nathan Drake (Reawaken Hymns) just finished up a project called The Trinity Project: three albums of 20 classic hymns tracks each. For those of you that lead worship, there are some pretty cool resources on his website (reawakenhymns[.]com/the-trinity-project). The albums are called Hymns of the Father, Hymns of the Son, and Hymns of the Spirit, respectively.
The project resources also include some art and a devotional for each hymn, which could be a great family worship resource.
I grew up on KLOVE-type music, so these albums have been a tremendous blessing in introducing me to some hymns for the first time. Some may not like the style, but I find it beautiful and very easy to follow in singing aloud.
What are your thoughts on modern renditions of classic hymns? Who are your favorite, readily-accessible (via Spotify or the like) hymn singers? Since I brought up family worship, could you see including something like this in your family worship? I'd love to hear you all.
In Christ,
