Richard Baxter's Theological Works

The Practical Works of Richard Baxter constitutes 40% of what Baxter actually wrote, but 100% of what is available, and for good reason.
His theological works were not considered worthy of being reprinted. He was a master of casuistry, but was not considered a good model
for theological studies.

How can his practical works be sound but his theological works a mess?
