I just finished reading Scott Manetsch's wonderful new(ish) book Calvin's Company of Pastors last night. One of the things I appreciated about the book was the way he brought into view the life and ministry of the ministers who served alongside Calvin in Geneva. One of the prominent pastors he mentions throughout the book was a Frenchman named Simon Goulart. He was especially noted for his warm-hearted piety and pastoral counsel. I'm curious to learn more about Goulart but I can't seem to find much online. Does anyone know of good biographies about him or where one might find works that he wrote?
