Regensburg Colloquy?

Browsing around I saw Regensburg Colloquy mentioned as a sort of compromise between Catholics and Reformed and that some ecumenical person touted that we could learn from it. So my question is, what is it and what happened?

It went up in smoke, per Calvin. They managed to agree on justification but not about the pope or transubstantiation. And after that Rome hardened its position on justification.
