I started reading a book called, "The Reformation", by Stephen Nichols. It is a short book and it's at an introductory level. I learned the acrostic, BASIN, which is used to outline what Anabaptists believe.
B = Brotherhood of all believers
A = Adult (or believers') baptism
S = Separation of church and state
I = In the world, but not of it
N = Nonviolent resistance

As one who has only known an Anabaptist-like church, it's hard for me to think outside of that box.
