Looking for quote - why should I marry you

This is really vague in my mind. If someone has it closer to the tip of their tongue, I'd appreciate it.

A preacher, or perhaps missionary, had no eyes on marriage, but a woman was interested. He asked her why he should marry her. Her reply basically said that she would serve well to promote his ministry for the glory of God. Any ideas?

I still can't find it. It could have been anyone from Luther to Jim Elliot. It just sticks in my mind. I remember that the man was convinced and married her. They had a wonderful marriage and he was a mighty instrument for God's glory. Grrrr. C'mon gray matter... clang... clang... clang. I know it's in there somewhere.
