J. J. van Oosterzee - Worth reading?

I read a fair amount of Dutch theological works, and I see J. J. van Oosterzee's name mentioned all the time, especially in Berkhof's works. Was van Oosterzee a solid theologian? Is he worth reading? I am wondering if anyone here has consulted his Christian Dogmatics before. If so, what are your thoughts?
