Independency in Church Government and also in missions-sending

Hello,

What are the best resources for justifying a church polity of independency? Scripture, links, sermons, tracts, books?

Also, what are some of the best resources for justifying independency in missions (direct-sent from one church, not under an agency or denomination)?

How are those two things linked?

Sure does man, If you look at the Church at Antioch you'll see that Paul & Barnabas were sent
out by the the Elders or Presbytery on their Mission also when they went to the Synod at Jerusalem
The Apostles, The Synod at Jerusalem with the whole Church sent them back with Judas & Silas.

It seems that Ministers were usually sent out with a Church's or Presbyteries or Synods Blessing &
Support no Lone Ranger Stuff here, we all have a part to play though God seems to raise up Men
equipping them with Ministry of the Gospel Gifts to do the most effectual work.
 
While I believe in Presbyterianism, Iain Murray's Scottish Christian Heritage and MLJ's The Puritans advance Independency arguments.
