I am looking for Resources that show that Jacob and Calvin know each other at all. The dates I am getting for there births and deaths are not what I thought the would be and I am looking to help a Brother in Christ with this Issue.

Yes.. See that's what i Keep Coming Up with myself, But I keep running in to those mythical letters from Calvin to Jacobus And i was hoping someone somewhere has written something on it.

"Mythical" is the key word. Calvin has never written to Arminius. I guarantee it. He did write to Cardinal Jacopo Sadoleto, however. Could that be what we're actually talking about?

Okay, this is something completely different. Now we're talking about Michael Servetus. Yes, Calvin and Servetus were personally acquainted -- Calvin visited with him in prison in Geneva to try and persuade him of his errors before he was executed by the city officials.

John Calvin patiently corresponded with Michael Servetus for years, hoping to help him come to understand proper Christian doctrine. Calvin sent Servetus a copy of the Institutes, which Servetus then sent back full of "corrections". Afterwards, Calvin ended communication with him.

Servetus, by all accounts, was an exceedingly arrogant man, and won himself few friends.

But no, Calvin did not personally know Jacob Arminius.
