Hermann Von Der Hardt (November 15, 1660 - February 28, 1726) was a German historian who wrote about the Medieval and Reformation eras. His work on the Reformation sounds intriguing to me, but apparently it was ever published/translated (it is, I think, available to archivists for research). Does anyone know more about this? And it was not clear to me in reading his entry in Wikipedia or the New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge whether he was a Lutheran or no (he is described as having embraced "rationalism"). Can anyone shed further light on him?
