Eating at Cheesecake Factory

Here's a life hack:

When eating at Cheesecake Factory (if you've never been, the menu is 22 laminated pages long), I like to sit at the bar (where you can get full food service) and watch the bartender work (usually only one bartender at work, even when the place is packed, so he or she is constantly on the go). Also, by sitting at the bar, you usually don't have to wait as long to get seated (definitely a plus).

If there's no Cheesecake Factory where you live, move. (I kid, sorta.)

I haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in a long time. I had heard though that since covid they've kind of gotten downhill in terms of food quality. But I've always enjoyed their food.

We went last summer for my daughter's birthday dinner. The food was excellent but a bit pricey. The place was packed when we went there.

My wife and I used to eat there about once a year, usually around the Holidays (and her birthday). The selection was mind-boggling, and the food was always quite good. We would typically get a whole cheesecake to take home and enjoy over the following weeks. There aren't any CFs where we currently live, but even if there were we probably wouldn't eat there due to the ridiculous (though understandable) price of restaurant food these days, and the "new norm" of often poor customer service (again, quite understandable given current economic dynamics).

Indeed. When there was a long wait last year we just took up the bar and got the same service and faster drinks. Lol

There are several of them near where I live, and I can definitely say that, in my experience, the food quality is top-notch. I've never had a complaint. Excellent food.

I can't say that I've ever experienced bad service there, even when the place is packed - which it usually is, even in the middle of an afternoon. Definitely a favorite place of mine.
