The latest issue of Christian History magazine dealt with Evangelicals as distinct from Fundamentalists. The treatment struck me as superficial. They did not seem to grasp why conservative Evangelicals might be troubled by Billy Graham. They did not show that pentacostalism is a serious new deviation from Evangelicalism.
But maybe they are right to give the so called Evangelical movement a superficial treatment. Any movement that has lost a distinctive critique of the errors of Romanism does not deserve to be taken seriously.
