At the beginning of my 1844 edition of George Gillespie's One hundred and eleven propositions concerning the ministry and government of the church, an act of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland has been printed. It is entitled, Act approving eight general heads of doctrine against the tenets of Erastianism, Independency, and liberty of conscience, asserted in the one hundred and eleven propositions, which are to be examined against the next Assembly. Does anyone know the precise date this Act was approved?

I didn't find a reference to the act but the Propositions were ordered published at the start of the August/Sept 1647 General Assembly. General Assembly Commission Records, 1646-1647, ed. Alexander F. Mitchell and James Christie (1892) 304. The wording (against the next assembly) may suggest the act was drafted before? More investigation needed.
