i see a need to fill in some gaps in my knowledge of European history.
i'd like to read a book on the 30 years war with special reference to the religious aspects. i'm curious about how the reformed fared in Bohemia for example, yet don't see anything about the religious dimensions in the places i've looked online.
does anyone have a recommendation?
at this point, from amazon and
http://www.pipeline.com/~cwa/Bibliography.htm
i'm thinking that:
The Thirty Years War : The Holy Roman Empire and Europe, 1618-48 (European History in Perspective) (Paperback)
by Ronald G. Asch
might be my best bet.
i found this online book that will be a good start
