Is there any sense in which God still favors/blesses ethnic Israel over and above other people groups? Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus", so it seems that there is no ethnic favoritism...
